Joy Fahrenkrog, 2005 US Archery Team member
and PSE pro shooter qualified for funding for the World Indoor Championships at the Archery Custom Shop in Forest Park,
IL on Thursday. Fahrenkrog needed
two scores of 555 or better out of 600 to qualify for funding. She shot a 561
last year in Andover, MA at the National Indoor Championships and a tournament personal best of 567 just two days ago. She will still have to qualify for the US World Indoor Team at the Trials in Hillsboro, TX which begins January 14th. Fahrenkrog leaves for Amsterdam
on Tuesday to compete in the highly promoted European Face to Face tournament. Her
airfare to the Netherlands was donated
by Bill Pimm, president of the US Crossbow Association. She will be the only
US representative in the women’s
Olympic recurve division. You can follow her progress at the tournament on her

just two years ago and placed 6th in the US Olympic Trials held this past June.
