Fahrenkrog had this to say "I definitely felt as though I made progress with my form today. I was pretty upset after the first half, we were muddy and wet and I just didn't have the control that I wanted over my shooting. Coach Lee made some suggestions and that seemed to help a lot." 4/3/04: TEXAS SHOOTOUT BRONZE was won by Joy in the final day of the tournament hosted by Texas A&M.  Joy was ranked 9th after the qualifying round and then shot her way up to 3rd during the elimination round.  Winning her first two matches put her in the top 8 where she had to shoot against Stephanie Miller who was seeded first to make it into the top 4.  After the first end, Joy was up 3 points, but over the next two ends, Stephanie dwendled it down to just a two point lead.  With just three arrows to go, Joy shot a 10,9,9 to beat Stephanie 104-97 in the wind.  In the semifinals she was up against Lindsay Carmichael, a member of the paralympic team who had already broken 3 AR world records over the weekend.  Joy missed the first shot and was out of the match from the very beginning.  That didn't hold her back however from setting up a strong win against 2004 Olympian Stephanie Arnold-White in the Bronze Medal match.  Hat's off to Texas A&M for an excellent job!

4/2/05: TEXAS SHOOTOUT GOLD: Team Stealth (Joy Fahrenkrog, Angela Teggart and Nikki Stull) won the Team Round, taking out Columbia's Varsity, University of Texas's Varsity, and Texas A&M's Varsity.
